Randy Furr is executive vice president and chief financial officer at Spansion, responsible for overseeing the financial direction of Spansion’s worldwide operations. Furr joined Spansion with 30 years of experience in the technology sector, with background as a financial and operations executive.
For more than three decades, Furr has led organizations through phases of restructuring and rapid growth across the technology sector from electronics manufacturing to software. Most recently, Furr held senior executive positions including CFO at Magellan, a portable GPS systems company; Aliph, a provider of wireless headsets; and Adobe Systems, a creative professional and enterprise software company. In addition, Furr was president and chief operating officer of Sanmina-SCI, where he spent 13 years in a variety of positions including executive vice president and chief financial officer. During his tenure, Furr completed over 50 mergers and acquisitions and led a capitalization increase from $250 million to over $5 billion. Prior to Sanmina, Furr has also held executive management positions at General Signal and Arrow Engineering.
Furr received his bachelor’s of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
