Spansion Quality Services

As a leading provider of Flash memory solutions, we do not take our success for granted. We understand that enabling our customers' success is critical to our success. That is why we strive to satisfy our customers with the perfect Flash memory solution, exceptional customer service and the product longevity they need – time after time.

An integral part of this commitment to customer satisfaction is the dedication of our employees and their rigorous application of Spansion's Quality, Reliability and Service policies and procedures. The scope of these programs encompasses the life of a Spansion® Flash memory device from product conception, through the development and qualification processes, volume production, and eventually to product retirement.

A Commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction

At the core of the Quality Management System is the Spansion Quality Policy developed by the management team and fully supported by our employees:

"Spansion has zero tolerance for customer-perceived problems in our drive toward total customer satisfaction."

All Spansion employees strongly believe that our customers should not experience any problems when designing in, manufacturing with, and supporting systems that include any Spansion product. If a customer believes there is a quality or reliability issue with a Spansion product, then the Spansion quality and engineering teams work with that customer to resolve the issue regardless of origin or nature.

Spansion Listens to Customers

The Quality Policy is the foundation for Spansion executive management to convert both customer and internal inputs into annual forecasts, business plans and specific project requirements.

All inputs to management are important, but our customer inputs are of the highest priority. Customers communicate what products they want and how well our products perform after receiving them. All Spansion employees are trained to prioritize customer inputs, but Sales, Marketing, and Field Engineering personnel are especially focused on collecting and communicating the Voice of the Customer throughout Spansion.
