Basic Needs

At Spansion, we believe that food, shelter, and health care are basic and essential human needs. Helping individuals and families move towards self-sufficiency through provisions of healthy food, safe shelter and basic clinic-based healthcare is part of our community vision. We believe having access to these services enables better learning and family environments, and ultimately, a better community.

Basic Needs highlights include:

  • Quarterly Blood Donation drive supporting Stanford Blood Center (Sunnyvale, California)
  • Children’s Protection Society (Penang, Malaysia)
  • Support for Pakkred Home for Mentally and Physically Handicapped Babies (Ban Fuengfah, Nonthaburi, Thailand)

“We are so greatful for the continued support from Spansion. Spansion not only brings out volunteers to help us bag groceries for our families, but raises money for our food drives and collects school supplies for our children. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “
