Corporate Headquarters, Sunnyvale, CA

Not only is Sunnyvale home to Spansion’s Headquarters but also to the Submicron Development Center (SDC), the company’s main Research and Development facility and the only R&D 300mm Flash fab in California. With over 1,000 employees in Sunnyvale, Spansion is the 6th largest employer in the city.

In addition to our technology presence in Sunnyvale, Spansion and its employees are active and involved in the local community. Spansion’s Fab 25 is a major presence on the southeast side of Austin. With more than 120,000 square feet of Level 1 clean room space, Fab 25 manufactures Spansion’s state-of-the-art MirrorBit® and MirrorBit Quad Flash memory solutions on 90nm and 65nm process technology. Our Austin site is also home to innovative technology leaders devoted to research and development in cutting-edge areas of Flash memory.

There are many features that make living and working in Austin and Central Texas attractive, including a climate that favors nearly year-round outdoor activity.
