The use of chemicals and the chemical content of electronic products have been the subject of several recent regulatory actions. Over the last several years, the chemical content of electronic products has been the focus of several regional and national legislative actions that have affected the global electronics industry supply chain. We are committed to producing products that meet these legislative actions and that help our customers meet requirements for their products. The following provide our position statements regarding a variety of product-related chemical content legislative actions and customer requirements:

• Compliance to EU ROHS Directive
• Compliance to RoHS Directive for Legacy Products
• Compliance to China RoHS Directive
• Low-Halogen Products
• Use of PFOS

The recently enacted Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) effects the use, distribution and manufacturing of chemicals in the European Union (EU). Spansion does not manufacture products in the EU and consequently is not directly impacted by this regulation.
