World Class Supplier Award Program

Spansion honors its suppliers for their commitment and outstanding service through the World Class Supplier (WCS) award program. These partners are vital to helping Spansion deliver superior quality and value to its end customers. The program also motivates vendors to improve quality and strengthen the business relationship with Spansion. Award recipients demonstrate exemplary performance in the areas of technology, cost, quality, flexibility and service. Suppliers are recognized in four different categories:

WCS Supplier of the Year Award (annual)

Recognizes Spansion’s top supplier; selected by the WCS Steering Committee from the Best in Class recipients.

WCS Best in Class Award (annual)

Recognizes suppliers who are the best of the best within a supply base and plays a leadership role in their industry (World Class Performance)

WCS Achievement Award (annual)

Recognizes suppliers who establish and maintain exceptional performance

WCS Spotlight Award (anytime)

Recognizes exceptional results that are beyond expectations

Winners are chosen at the discretion of the Global WCS Steering Committee and are honored during an annual dinner event. The Committee consists of members from the Global Supply Management team.
