Spansion Product Traceability

Spansion has implemented a new Mark Code system to provide its customers full product traceability. This system enables Spansion customers to identify key manufacturing details, such as assembly and test location, and wafer lot information.

Spansion will also continue to use the current assembly date code, which is printed on packing labels. The assembly date code allows the customer to identify the age of assembled products.

Product Traceability Information is issued in weekly reports (csv format), which are listed in the right margin (by date, the most recent of which is at the top). The format of each report is:
