Make Sure It's Spansion Under-the-hood

Today's automobiles are designed to ensure advanced vehicle performance, maximum fuel efficiency, low emissions and sophisticated safety.  Spansion® floating-gate products enable full-featured, reliable powertrain and safety systems and are targeted for use in engine and transmission control units, traction and stability control systems, airbag units, anti-lock braking systems, parking and anti-collision systems.  Under-the-hood applications require robust Flash memory solutions that can withstand extreme temperatures and vehicle vibration, while continuing to deliver on-going reliability and performance over the life of the vehicle. 

For engine and transmission control, Spansion floating-gate solutions are specified to operate from -40° to +145° C (for Known Good Die (KGD) configurations).  Spansion offers burst-mode solutions to ensure rapid code execution for faster vehicle response times. Devices also feature the required 2.5-volt power supply and are offered in preferred densities ranging from 16 Mb to 32 Mb.
